Milestone brings us back to the Superbike tracks with SBK 22

Milestone today announced SBK 22, the new chapter in the motorcycle series coming on September 15th. The game will immerse us again in the SBK Championship world over ten years after the release of SBK Generations, the tenth game in the Milestone series that began in 1999 with the Superbike World Championship.

The game recreates the experience of the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship thanks to the charm of its simulation gameplay and environments equal to reality, combined with riders and motorcycles, finally making the dream of the community and sports fans come true.

The 2022 Official WorldSBK Championship is the perfect replica of what happens in reality, characterized by event calendars, official rosters and box environments with photorealistic effects and models. Players will test their skills by competing as their favourite drivers on the adrenaline-pumping SBK tracks.

SBK 22 recreates the iconic and peculiar SBK experience, thanks to the advanced gameplay physics developed in collaboration with the official riders, proposing an extreme level of simulation both in terms of the bike and the behavior of the riders.

The immersive Career Mode offers several ways to improve and customize the performance of riders and bikes, such as staff management at advanced trim, thanks to which players have full control of the bike's settings by developing the Development Tree. Managing the staff also means hiring different professionals, from the Personal Manager passing through the Chief Engineer, without forgetting the fundamental Telemetrist.

The Development Tree is structured in several areas, each of which requires a specific number of search points to be unlocked. These points can be earned passively through the work of engineers or actively by players, completing specific tasks on the race weekend.

SBK 22 also boasts innovative features such as tyre management, fuel management and weight balance of the bikes. A.N.N.A System, the revolutionary AI system based on neural networks and machine learning, guarantees a gameplay tailored to the player, controlling opponents based on their personality and training them by analyzing data and performance. At the highest level, the skill level of the opposing pilots is not dissimilar from the real one.

The vast number of editors allows players to customize many aspects of their experience in SBK 22. Sticker, helmet, number and butt patch are the editors dedicated to riders and motorcycles, Fiction Team instead is completely dedicated to creating a fictional team customizing its livery and style.

SBK 22 is perfect for epic multiplayer challenges of up to 12 players. Multiplayer Flow is customizable by choosing whether or not to add the typical Tissot-Superpole session before a race, not to mention the possibility of modifying each individual race with custom settings and rules.
