THQ Nordic returns to take us into the depths of Bikini Bottom with SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake by Purple Lamp Studios , in development for older generation consoles and therefore playable on new ones through backward compatibility.

In this new adventure, SpongeBob and Patrick meet the mysterious fortune teller Kassandra who gives them a vial full of mermaid tears. Legend has it that these fulfill the desires of those who are pure in heart: needless to say, the two friends will be fulfilled to such an extent as to generate a whirlwind of desires capable of tearing through the very fabric of space-time, thus opening strange and threatening portals.
