Bad news for lovers of the Elite Dangerous space simulator who were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Odysseyupdate, which will finally introduce walking exploration of the planets; the developer Frontier Developments has in fact announced the postponement of the expansion,which instead of the beginning of 2021 will arrive in spring for PC and only at the end of the year for consoles.

The developers explain that the ongoing pandemic has had a marked impact on the production of the game and that this has forced them to revise the plans: we also imagine that the difference in outputs between PC and console is due to the desire to release the new content in a form that lives up to expectations even for console players.
