For the first time since the two MechAssaults for the first Xbox, we can finally return to command the powerful war mechs of fasa: the Piranha Games studio has in fact announced today that the robot fighting simulator MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will arrive on Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One in spring 2021, after being released for PC at the end of 2019.

MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is a single player title with first- or third-person views, inspired by the board game BattleTech and which sees us impersonate thec-omandante Mason, a MechWarrior seeking revenge after his father is killed in a surprise attack by Black Inferno mercenaries.

The game sees us use a large star map to select contracts and missions in the various war zones or to go to markets where we can hire pilots and personnel or buy components and weapons for our mechs.
