Leak: PES 2021 will be a reissue with updated content of PES 2020, will cost 29.90 Euros

While we're all waiting for what Konami has in store for its popular Pro Evoultion Soccer franchise with the arrival of the new consoles, it seems that for a real new episode of the series we'll have to wait until next year. Yes, because according to a leak from the Microsoft Store, this year's title will be a re-release of PES 2020 (not a DLC but a real stand-alone game),updated however with teams and players of the 2020-21 championship.

According to the Store, the game will be called this year's eFootball PES 2021 Season Update just to emphasize the fact that it is a reissue with updated content from last year's title, and the description of the game speaks clearly:

"Celebrate 25 years of PES with theeFootball PES 2021 Season Update, available at a special anniversary price! This product is an updated version of eFootball PES 2020 (released in September 2019) containing the latest player data and current roses. Note: We may need to update the roses of some championships after launch.

Product overview: eFootball PES 2021 Season Update offers the same gameplay as critically acclaimed eFootball PES 2020, and team and player updates based on the new season. It also includes the UEFA EURO 2020 modeā„¢, all at a special price for the anniversary of PES!"

And what will be this "special price" at which the game will be sold? We find out thanks to the store French E.Leclerc, which put the game on the list price of 29.90 euros with release scheduled for September 15.

In short, we don't know what's happening at Konami, but it seems that this year PES fans will have to settle for replaying last year's title but with updated teams. We just have to wait for Konami's official statement with all the details!
