Dead Island 2 development moves to Dambuster Studios

THQ Nordic announced tonight that the troubled and multi-postponed Dead Island 2 has undergone a new change of course in the course of development: the game, initially announced in 2014 and made by YagerDevelopment, was passed to the studio British Sumo Digital in 2016 and has now changed hands once again to DambusterStudios, former authors of Homefront: The Revolution and formerly known as Free Radical Design (TimeSplitters) and then CrytekUK.

The publisher did not reveal, as a result of this step, when the game is scheduled to be released: all fans of the zombie series will have to wait patiently for future announcements.
