Remedy regains Alan Wake's rights

Over the last few years there have been a series of rumours that alan Wake, a famous and appreciated horror adventure released on Xbox 360 back in 2010 and later on PC, but never had a positive response. Fans of the game would have wanted a sequel and the various rumours fueled the possibility that a new Alan Wake chapter was actually in development.

The Remedyteam, which we remember is also famous for Max Payne and Quantum Break, has begun to focus on cross-platform titles such as Control, currently in development and coming out at the end of the month next, since Microsoft has not carried out any kind of project for a possible return of Alan Wake on the new consoles.

According to Globe Newswire, the situation could change as Remedy has acquired the rights to AlanWake's IP, which has so far been in thehands of Microsoft. This could mean a potential and welcome return of the game, perhaps for the next generation and probably cross-platform consoles, with a different publisher funding the development; What is certain, however, is that the time could be long, given the projects on which the Remedyteam is engaged. To find out together, we invite you as always to stay tuned for all the news coming soon.
