Microids has released the launch trailer for the imminent return of our craziest roosters console and overwhelming French cartoon in Asterix & Obelix XXL2 . The popular action-adventure came way back in 2006 here in Europe in the PC version and PlayStation 2, and now is preparing to go back to the next-generation consoles in a remastered faithful but with a twist.

In addition to the best graphics of course also the combat system was overhauled and made more fluid with new additions in terms of attacks and health management; were also included different types of collectibles and new challenges.

Players can play the role of Asterix and Obelix, accompanied as usual by their four-legged companion Dogmatix, and get on the trail of the Druid Getafix, who betrayed the Gauls to enter into the good graces of Julius Caesar.

The great fun for the two heroic revelers will take place in Las Vegum, an amusement park set up right by the Roman Emperor, with its many sights, colors and puzzles in which have fun hunting down whole legions of Romans.
