E3: five new studies first party entering the Xbox family

The stage E3 Phil Spencer announced that five new studios are added to the family of Microsoft Studios: four of these are pre-existing studies, while one was created from scratch. The new study is The Initiative , an open study in Santa Monica, California, to create highly cinematic and story-driven games.

The others are all acquisitions of existing studies: the already rumoreggiato PlayGround Games , the authors of Undead Labs State of Decay, the British Compulsion Games (authors of We Happy Few , due out from Game Preview in August) and- surprise- Ninja Theory , the authors of Hellblade, a study with story-driven adventures we know definitely do.

This announcement confirms Microsoft's commitment to creating new titles and especially of experiences that are not only multiplayer: hope to soon tell more about their projects!
