Mojang announced the release of Better Together Update of Minecraft , which actually isn't a real update but a new version of the game available for free to all owners of Minecraft Xbox One Edition ; the new title brings about our console several innovations, including a new engine, the Bedrock Engine , new objects and mechanical properties but also the opportunity to play in cross-play with the holders of the game on other platforms: Windows, Android, 10 IOS and soon Switch.

The new version of Minecraft also introduces the possibility of visiting servers populated by thousands of users and access the store to download complex worlds and mini-games made by other players, whether gratis or for a fee.

If you own Minecraft Xbox One Edition Digital Edition, you will find the new game ready for download in your list of titles ready for installation; If you're on disk, you will need to start the game with the only requirement to have it played at least 5 hours or purchasing any DLC; This will send the request to upgrade servers to Mojang, that within a few days we will release the new game. To run this free upgrade disk you have until 30 June 2018.
