The saga of Monster Hunter arrives for the first time on Xbox with Monster Hunter: World

Capcom has just announced on Twitter that the saga of Monster Hunter will come for the first time on Xbox (if we exclude the spin-off Frontier released only in Japan for 360) with the new episode of the series, Monster Hunter: World .

The game is expected at the beginning of 2018 and will be an action-RPG that sees us fighting against huge and dangerous beasts to catch them, using any means and taking advantage of the benefits provided by the environment. Here are more information released by Capcom.

Monster Hunter: World introduces a complex living ecosystem where players will take the role of hunters of wild beasts and will compete in frenzied fighting that will grow into the largest hunting ground ever developed in the history of this series. The new system will allow drop-in multiplayer to play alone or cooperatively with three other hunters, also coming from other parts of the world. The game will keep the classic progression system based on the experience of playing it on a robust crafting system, the hunters venture into exciting missions to hunt for monsters, loot collected by slain enemies can be used to create new equipment and reinforcement enhancements, these upgrades will be crucial to survive the elements and to be able to defeat more powerful enemies that face each other later in the game.

Monster Hunter: World offers an uninterrupted gaming experience where players can move freely through maps that will include living ecosystems and dynamic transitions from day to night. The flora and fauna of hunting grounds play a crucial role in this, gamers will have to take advantage of all the possibilities offered by the environment and make use of their cunning and experience to keep track of their prey and address them in intense and unpredictable battles.

The many options in multiplayer mode and flexible structure of quest, will allow hunters to face the challenges alone or in the company of three other players in cooperative online. For the first time in the history of the series Monster Hunter â„¢ Japanese hunters can play alongside Western ones to create a worldwide community. Using drop-in hunters who play in single-player mode will help community members when they will face opponents are too strong to be defeated by themselves.
