Mass Effect Andromeda: what makes the acquaintance of the new cast of characters

During the Mass Effect trilogy we have come to love and know many characters: the Commander Shepard arriving in Miranda, Garrus, Grunt, Tali, Mordini and many others. Mass Effect: Andromeda will, however, in comparison with a completely new cast from the protagonists, Sara and Scott Ryder, through the many secondary characters and enemies.

As you already know if you've been following the news about the game, the title will see us indeed explore a Galaxy unknown as the Pioneer Sara or Scott, depending on the decision taken initially, and we can visit numerous planets aboard the new ship, the Tempest, encountering unusual alien races and numerous characters.

Then we see together some of the main characters-at least those disclosed so far-we will encounter in the course of the game.

Sara and Scott Ryder
Regardless of which of the two we will choose as the protagonist of the story, the other will still part of history as well as their father, Alec Ryder, and their behavior will be influenced by our choices throughout history. Scott comes from a military formation while Sara has specialized in the study of the breed Protheans, but still early in the game we will be able to decide the details of their recent history so as to create a background in line with our tastes.

Alec Ryder
Sara and Scott's father, Alec was part of the team that discovered the portal of Charon, the first Galactic discovered by humanity. For this reason it was chosen as a pioneer to lead the mission that will take us in the Andromeda Galaxy, but for reasons still unknown at the beginning of the game will be forced to give up his role by assigning it to one of his sons; will still be a game character and we will deal with him from time to time.

Liam Kosta
Specializing in first aid, with civilian tactical training, Liam joined the Andromeda Initiative after a meeting with a former Alliance member during "rescue action post-hostility." Praised for its versatility and the versatility, Liam was selected to support the team of the pioneer. This is an idealist, ready to take risks for the sake of the initiative.

Cora Harper
Cora has enlisted the Alliance of systems to be able to train on biotic powers, becoming part of an asari commando unit before joining the initiative, Andromeda, where he serves as second-in-command of Alec Ryder. Professional and loyal, Cora knows the rules and knows how and when you can adapt them to your situation. Its tactical capabilities of Slayer and his force biotic serve the pioneer.

Peebee
Pelessaria B ' Sayle, called by all Peebee, is an asari part of our team. Peebee follows his instinct reckless and has an exhaustible thirst for adventure. Deeply independent, still managed to manifest a spirit of openness, even friendly. Tired of the milky way, would do anything to get into the Initiative: flirt, favors, falsification of documents. For her, every means was lawful, to get your ticket for the unknown.

Drack
Drack is a krogan and will be the newest member of our team leathery; Unlike the younger Grunt we had known in the past, this time it seems that Drack is a true veteran and looks more wrinkled, with a tougher skin and with several "horns" on the skull. Will probably be one of the most gruff cast characters.

Vetra
Vetra is a male turian, arrived in the Andromeda Galaxy based on Nexus and that will be with us for the whole story. She's convinced that family ties are more important than venturing in the Galaxy, and this aspect will affect the story.

Jaal
Jaal is from the Andromeda Galaxy and is part of the new breed of the angara River, located in the cluster of Helius. We don't know yet whether it will be part of our team, but it seems is still a recurring character throughout history. BioWare has stated in the past that we as a team member from the Andromeda Galaxy, and could therefore be directly Jaal.

Kallo Jath
Kallo Jath is the pilot of the shuttle Tempest, and will cover essentially the role formerly of Joker. It is a salariano and is part of the ship's crew since its construction.

SAM

SAM stands for Simulated Adaptive Matrix ( Simulated Adaptive Array ) and is an AI in support of Ryder and their team. Has a humanoid body, its central processor resides in the base Nexus, but is constantly connected to the team and receives in real time all their sensory data, communicating with them to suggest how best to deal with the various situations.

These are only some of the characters we meet in Mass Effect: Andromeda since March 23, when the game will hit stores: everyone else we should discover them by following the story and exploring the vast galaxy that lies ahead!
