Hitman: I confirm that the bailouts are not compatible with those offline

Players who bought the first episode of Hitman have discovered that the bailouts made with offline game are not compatible with the online mode, and it wasn't clear if it was a bug or a feature you want. Now one of IO Interactive has made it clear that this is not a bug and that the bailouts made in Hitman while we're online will not be compatible with those made when we're offline, and vice versa. This means that if you play online, and for any reason you lose your connection or Square Enix servers go down, none of the bailouts will be made.

Large portions of Hitman are available only online, in fact the game was designed to be played with connecting to servers so you can get access to the latest series of live content. This can become a problem when you add more complicated areas, with levels that require a longer playing time: some owners of Hitman refer in fact to have been sent back to the main menu of the game while they were halfway Mission whenever there were connection problems.

The spokesman explained: " When we announced Hitman, we explained to the fans and the players that we were creating a game live. This is a world of assassinations alive and in constant evolution, which will grow with the community through new content between the launch of two episodes. You can enjoy the location of the offline game, but to ensure that the player's progress live content is always updated correctly, online and offline backups are kept separate. "
