During last weekend, some players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 , have found an Islamic text on the frame of a painting hanging in a bathroom during a gaming session on Favela map. The Islamic religion prohibits the exhibition of sacred texts in the bathrooms so Activision preferred to remove the game map.

Are readily received apologies from the folks at Activision: "We apologize to all those who have found this offensive image. We assure you that we were not aware of this problem and we had no intention to cause offense. We are working as quickly as possible to resolve the problem ".

"We are also working to launch an update to resolve this issue in Modern Warfare 3. And we will remove the image from Modern Warfare 2 through another patch. Until we remove the patch map Favela ".
