ACIII: the final open streets in new stories and sequels

Interviewed by Shack , Corey May, author of the plot of Assassin's Creed III, issued the following statement: " the final AC III will close permanently the fortunes of Demond and his ancestors, however were planted several seeds that enable the development of new textures if in the future we will decide to resume the series ". However Ubisoft does not exclude the possibility of sequel depending on how fans will react to the new main character, as you can read from more excerpts of the interview that you find below.

May continued, adding: " my intention was to create a long and comprehensive answer to all major questions that fans have set themselves. The ending will be revealed but won't be too contrived, and above all must not come out of nowhere: you wake up and discover that you've been in Animus and you lived the memories of someone who in turn was in an Animus. We are not doing this. It will turn out to be all a dream. "

"People who have analyzed the plot from the series might already have guessed from where will come the end of the game. However we are creating something that reconnect everything, and there will be yet another meaningless final or with a cliffhanger "

As mentioned before, Ubisoft has however added that Assassin's Creed III might have followed or spin-off depending on how you met Connor:

"We have set up three games with Ezio why people loved Bob. During the game you'll know Connor, see its origins and how he became a murderer, and you could fall in love with him. If the public is in favour, as we develop more stories with Connor as the protagonist, exactly as we did that AC: Brotherhood and AC: Revelations. "

Alex Hutcinson has also wanted to reassure fans about the quality of the sequels:

"For Assassin's Creed III we have spent three years, however the fruits you are seen with the construction of our new engine Anvil Next, and this will also allow any sequels to have high quality standards. In addition, if a product has quality though should have annual outputs I personally comperei. If Radiohead did come out a year I would not hesitate to buy them, because I know it would. As I follow the television series seventh season, and despite some ugly episode do not give some to see if the overall quality is satisfactory and continues to love. I understand the concerns of the fans, but condiviamo the same world, and certainly we don't want to let the franchise die releasing poor games. "

It only remains to wait for the release of Assassin's Creed III to know the reactions of fans and know the future of the series.
