Microsoft prepares to revamp Xbox store ahead of Xbox Series X

In the last few hours, what was likely to be one of the announcements related to "hardware and services" that Microsoft was supposed to make in June was leaked: the arrival of a complete overhaul of the Xbox Store, with new flaming graphics, renewed usability and above all significantly improved performance compared to the current Store.

The store's new app is codenamed "Mercury", and some have managed to download it and run it on PCs through changes, as it is based on the Windows UWP system on which many cross-platform apps are based.

These first leaked images show us a much more elegant and above all comfortable and responsive interface: full-screen trailers disappear, search is faster and it seems to have everything more at hand. We wonder if this new graphical approach is not a taste of a complete overhaul of the console interface in view of the next-gen

This new Store will arrive on Xbox One but will then obviously be adopted by Xbox Series X; The two generations of consoles should have a unified interface, which is why Microsoft has started to evolve it already on the current console, so that it has a well-established and definitive interface when the new console is launched.

You can see it in the video, shot by the popular Windows Central blog, and in the following images: what do you think?
