Sea of Thieves: the first patch is online, new video update from Rare

Please note that, while it continues (until 15:00) the planned server maintenance of Sea of Thieves , Rare has released the first patch post-launch game that will require the complete download of the game, then about 9 GB 19 GB on Xbox One X and the console standard. The developers have also released a new video update where they explain the contents of the patch and why this is so great.

First, developers explain that many of the problems of the first days of launch server-side have been resolved, and now the players have far fewer problems although there is still some unfinished business. The purpose of this patch is just solve some of these problems: Rare has had to decide whether to immediately release the update by download full game or wait a few more days (because of the tests and additional checks) for release a patch "differential" much smaller, but they felt these problems very important preferring to immediately release the update that requires you to redownload the entire game.

Concerning issues included in this update, we find that the release of the objectives: many players complained about a delay in the release of goals or even the lack of some of them. The new patch will cause just now unlock achievements earned, also if you have missing "goals, the next time you start the post game-patch should unlock all together.

The update should also resolve the problem of missing equipment and weapons at the start of a match, fixing some graphical performance issues encountered by players. In addition to this are stari fixed several stability issues and various bugs.

Concerning amendments to the gameplay and game mechanics, however, Rare explains that these will be subject to an additional video-update coming in the next few days, in which developers we will talk about player feedback, and what they plan to change or add to the title in the short term. In a previous tweet have explained that you are aware of the problem of griefing , or players who do nothing but try to attack and Rob the other players, often stretching forth of ambushes at the outposts, and star looking for possible solutions to this. So it's likely that this is one of the topics that will be touched in the next video.
