In response to the revival of the hopes of fans following the news that Microsoft has renewed the trademark Scalebound , the well-known insider Jez Corden (the same that has in the past revealed different information in advance about Project Scorpio and that has been shown to have well-connected at Microsoft), explained on his blog Windows Central that no, Scalebound is not currently under development in any form.

Corden explains that they have checked through its own sources that the title is not under development nor at Microsoft, nor at external teams: just for today there is nothing in development/production in relation to the title.

Obviously this does not mean that in the future, Microsoft cannot decide to resurrect the project, but don't expect to see him appear at the next E3, as many hoped. Scalebound remains for now in limbo of bankruptcy projects canceled.
