Xbox One: a first look at the new guides that will speed Dashboard

As we anticipated , in the next days Preview program members will receive the Creators Update Xbox One, which among other things will also update the Guide-the vertical bar that appears on the left of the screen-making it accessible with a single click of the Xbox button on the controller.

The Guides will be redesigned to allow us to access all the features that today we reach from the Home console, allowing us to have everything at hand and making it less necessary to transition to Home when we are in a game. But what will it really?

I'll show a screenshot captured from a stream on Beam did tonight from the Xbox development Chief Mike Ybarra, which you can see below: as you can see, when you open the Guide we will be placed in a new section, identified by the Xbox logos which and from which we can access the Store, my games & Apps and at Home (which is selected by default as soon as you open the Guide , so just press the A button to access it). Under these shortcut links are then other things present on the Home screen: the titles or apps run recently and at the bottom (just visible in the screenshot) the Pins of the games/apps we want faster access.

Other notable elements are the new option "other recording options" accessible with the "menu" button on your controller, a different arrangement of the sections of the Guide (the area Goals was for example moved to top) and, at the bottom before the settings, a new area dedicated to streaming on Beam , another new feature of the update.

We leave you to image: stay tuned for further updates on the update coming soon!
