Rare has released a new video of Sea of Thieves in which developers we illustrate and show a new feature: players will put in their inventory musical instruments of various types and then play them at any time.

When a player starts to play an instrument, this will play a melody suitable to the context: a festive pirate song while plying the seas, a haunting melody during full moon nights and so on. But that's not all: when a player is playing, the others who are with him or that it will meet may decide to use their tools, and the tune will become immediately a Symphony, with players who participate-maybe even without have agreed before-in concert.

And again: If the players play their instruments on a Galleon sailing, the other players who cross paths with their ships will hear the melody from afar, growing as the boat approaches.
