Microsoft announced today that, thanks to the great success he had at launch, Quantum Break is now the best selling new IP on Xbox One, passing in a few days as titles like Ryse: Son of Rome and Sunset Overdrive have sold so far.

The new title of Remedy, also, in less than a week after the launch (on April 5) jumped to the top of the ranking of best-selling games in the United Kingdom, surpassing a breath DiRT Rally for which however count sales of both platforms on which it is released.

Microsoft has not communicated the worldwide sales data and it is unclear how the game is positioned compared to other IP like Halo or Forza Motorsport.  Jon Edney, senior manager of Xbox Studios, says " we are pleased that Quantum Break has been so well received by audiences and critics, is a recognition of the hard work, ambition and commitment of team Remedy the fact that the game is already surpassing expectations. The game has already built an army of passionate fans and we can't wait to hear about their experiences at Riverport. "
