Microsoft officially announces the new Xbox One 1 TB and controller review

After several rumors which had anticipated the news, Microsoft has now officially announced the new Xbox One with 1 TB disk and a new finish "matte black", which will be available in USA from June 16 and in specific markets "towards the end of the month to the $ 399 price bundled with Halo: The Master Chief Collection . The console base with 500 GB disc also received a final price in USA at 349$; We don't know if the same will happen to us, but also the ideal place for the announcement could be the Gamescom.

The manufacturer also announced the revision of the Xbox controller One, included in the new 1 TB but affordable console separately, alongside the normal expansion also brings a microphone/headphone jack 3.5 "; It was made clear that, when you use this connector, all volume settings present on the console audio adapter will also be adjustable via a dedicated settings menu, which we imagine will come with an update at E3. Of course the controller will still be compatible with the headset using the standard adapter.

In addition to the new jack, the controller also features other improvements:

  • Great audio quality
  • Increase of maximum volume for audio in the headphones
  • Improvement of back buttons
  • Ability to update the firmware of the controller also instead of having wireless connect via USB

The controller will be available by the end of June at the same price as the standard one, joined by a version with Camo camouflage design of special forces.

Microsoft also announced that de year-end you can buy an adapter for the PC that will allow us to use our Xbox controller on PC via wireless, without using the USB cable, priced at 24,99$. We leave you a video and some pictures showing these new features.
