Xbox One: the first part of April update is available in preview

Please note that Microsoft has just released to members of the program preview of Xbox One the first part of the update in April, with the second part coming before the end of the month. This first update is rather light, with a series of secondary news except for one rather significant, relative to the objectives.

Today, when a notification unlock Xbox One shows us only the title and the points earned, forcing us to join the app to read the description and figure out what triggered the release of the goal. With the new update, this will no longer be necessary: the notification itself will also show the description, a novelty that will please many. In addition, the update also introduces performance optimizations that support the app objectives will now be faster.

  • Group chat enhancements – The party chat was improved with a series of indicators that tell us if your microphone is muted and warn us if your privacy settings or network problems prevent us from communicating with specific members of the party.
  • Links to gaming hub – users can now reach more easily the game's hub since activity feeds; for example, in posts of friends concerning the release of goals or posting videos and screenshots, there will now be a link to the hub of the game for the post. The app also the objectives you've placed the link to the hub of the game shows.
  • Target Notifications – notifications Now unblocked objectives show descriptions, eliminating the need to open the app objectives. If you decide to open the app from a notification, it will open faster.
