Rumor: Activision creates a new King's Quest through Sierra

Just yesterday we informed you how Activision has put online a new website dedicated to the late mark Sierra, suggesting the arrival of novelties for the Gamescom; today comes a juicy news by the American journalist Geoff Keighley, who said via Twitter that runs the news that there is a new King's Quest in development, by The Odd Gentlemen Angelenos ( The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom ).

King's Quest is an adventure game which kicked off to the great success of Sierra, produced by what is considered the creator of the genre: Roberta Williams. Released in 1984, the game put us in the shoes of a medieval knight, to whom the King had entrusted a quest to save the Kingdom. If there was successful, he would become King himself.

In reply to the tweet of Keighley, the co-creator of the Duke Nukem George Broussard has said that Activision wants to create a line of games in digital downloads, and that to do this will resurrect several historical series produced by Sierra. We therefore await the Gamescom to discover what bubble pot.
