In Cologne the gala dedicated to Hideo Kojima and

METAL GEAR SOLID (V): THE PHANTOM PAIN

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. will arrange an exclusive gala dinner to celebrate the game METAL GEAR SOLID v: THE PHANTOM PAIN of forthcoming. The evening will take place in Cologne, Germany, during the Gamescom – the most important European event for the gaming industry – and will be characterized by a presentation by the series creator Hideo Kojima.

Led by Geoff Keighley, videogame industry journalist and presenter of Spike TV, the big event will be held at the Musical Dome Cologne headquarters on 13 August. The auditorium – with a capacity of 1600 people – will host a special event focusing on final details that KONAMI has plans to unveil on METAL GEAR SOLID's most ambitious ever signed by Mr. Kojima.

Mr. Kojima will present an exclusive new gameplay of METAL GEAR SOLID v: THE PHANTOM PAIN , which will show the impressive ability of FOX Engine of Kojima Productions, and much more!

The evening will also be characterized by a live Q & A session with Mr. Kojima and even a few surprises. KONAMI will kick off a series of competitions and partnerships through which most loyal fans of METAL GEAR SOLID will win invitations to the event. Further details on the availability of tickets will be announced shortly. KONAMI has thought to those who cannot participate in the Gamescom: the event will be broadcast exclusively on Twitch, the community and the world's leading video platform for players and will be broadcast live from Cologne during the week of Gamescom.
