During a recent interview, the Managing Director of Ubisoft Toronto Jade Raymond has taken away any doubts about recent rumors that they wanted the next Assassin's Creed go chronologically in Feudal Japan. Raymond said that the new title will be set in one of the team's favorite historical periods but without releasing further details. When developers build a franchise, think to an entire universe that should lend itself well not only to the individual but to the whole saga and the Feudal Japan, despite being a setting that really love Raymond, was not deemed suitable for the occasion.

According to his statements, Ubisoft expects a lot from the next game from the moment, underlines, this is the first real episode of the series dedicated to next-gen console (this makes us understand that the product does not disembark on Xbox 360 ).

Ubisoft has not decided yet if the next Assassin's Creed will be similar to Brotherhood and Revelations, spin-off, or represent a brand new title. We are waiting for new information.
