Xbox One: GPU enhanced after E3

Corporate Vice President Microsoft's Marc Whitten has talked about some of the changes and additions that are doing through the current Xbox development kit, including an increase in GPU clock speed and a new graphics driver.

Speaking through spokesman podcast Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb Whitten said: "at the Gamescom, people will try and see hardware changes that have been made in relation to E3. This is the time when developers have final dev kit in their hands and they're really working closely with us on how things should be improved ".

On the practical side, the new graphic driver called mono driver, created specifically for Xbox One and mentioned the Vice President of Microsoft seems to be an improvement of the current DirectX for PC but optimized for consoles. While regarding the GPU clock speed, would pass from the current 800 MHz at 853mhz.

Stay tuned for any updates necessary, remembering that Kotaku staff will be present at the GamesCom and can tell you specifically if these improvements you will notice.
