EA reminds us that the highly anticipated war FPS Battlefield 6 is available from today, with a launch trailer that highlights the fast-paced and destructive action of the game, which we will be able to experience between multiplayer mode, single player campaign and the long-awaited Portal mode with its powerful creation tools.

The game projects us into the near future, in the year 2027, with the world on the brink of the abyss. NATO is now a shattered alliance, undermined by mistrust and uncertainty, while financial instability and political disputes have thrown several nations into geopolitical chaos. In this scenario, a formidable new force emerges: the Pax Armata, a gigantic private military company equipped with huge resources and cutting-edge technologies, ready to fill the power vacuum.

In the Single Player Campaign we will play the role of the Dagger 13, an elite team of the US Marines tasked with facing the threat of the Pax Armata. The adventure will unfold through nine adrenaline-charged missions that will take us around the world, from Brooklyn to Cairo, promising spectacular moments and explosive action on an unprecedented scale.

The heart of the experience, multiplayer, is more diverse than ever. We will be able to battle it out in maps full of detail and destructible elements, such as the majestic mountains of Tajikistan in Peak of Liberation, the dangerous construction sites on the outskirts of Cairo in New Sobek City or under the Manhattan Bridge, as well as six other settings on a global scale. The most popular classic modes such as Conquest, Breakthrough and Rush return, joined by the new Escalation mode. To these are also added more classic modes of the shooter genre such as Team Deathmatch and Domination, but revisited with the typical Battlefield DNA, made up of environmental destruction and tactical play.

A completely renewed and improved version of Portal also makes its debut, the editor that will allow us to create our own personalized game experiences. Thanks to these tools, we will be able to give our personal touch to Battlefield, pushing the series beyond its traditional limits and creating unique and unexpected clashes.

EA also explains that the launch of the game is just the beginning: the developers have already confirmed that Season 1 of Battlefield 6 will kick off on October 28 with "Rogue Operations", which will include a new map called Blackwell Fields and a new 4v4 mode. Seasonal content will be released on a regular basis: "California Resistance" will arrive on November 18 with the Eastwood map, while on December 9 it will be the turn of "Winter Offensive", which will include a themed update for the Empire State map. All features that impact gameplay will be free or obtainable by playing the game, to ensure a fair experience for all users.
