Apparently, that of Helldivers will not be an isolated case; seeing that Xbox is earning a lot from the games put on the PlayStation Store (just look at how Forza Horizon 5 is so far the best-selling game of the year on PS5), the Japanese house does not want to stand idly by and wants to maximize profits by selling its games to Xbox and Nintendo users as well.

This is what emerges from a job advertisement published by Sony, in which an executive is sought for the new "Multiplatform and account management" area, which will be created with the specific purpose of identifying all earning opportunities beyond the playstation hardware; this executive will manage a team responsible for maximizing the profitability of PlayStation games, identifying the platforms on which they could bring additional earnings between Xbox, Nintendo and PC.

The Director of this area will report directly to the Vice President of Sony's Commercial Management Organization.

We just have to wait to see what fruits this new initiative will bring for Xbox players!
