To celebrate today's release of Shadow Labyrinth, Bandai Namco has released the launch trailer that shows us the main features of this particular and deserving metroidvania.

In Shadow Labyrinth, players take on the role of Swordsman No. 8, who awakens in a desolate world with a mysterious and familiar companion known as PACC to guide them on their quest. To survive, they will have to eliminate different creatures, devour their power and evolve, unraveling the secrets of a planet created to destroy them. The game combines classic 2D platforming action with deep exploration and environmental puzzle-solving, inviting players to immerse themselves in a vast labyrinthine world, designed for anyone who dares to explore it to the fullest. As they traverse the mazes, they will be able to gain new abilities and weapons, including the ability to transform into a powerful mech called the AIA.

In the game, they will face increasingly challenging enemies and puzzles with gameplay that combines classic 2D action platformer mechanics with a modern and inspired game design.
