Deep Silver and Myrkur Games today released a new footage of the fantasy action-adventure Echoes of the End, arriving on August 12th. The new footage gives us a deeper look at the game's world, the magic that permeates it, and the narrative aspect of the title.

The new gameplay footage takes place at the beginning of the story and highlights some of the game's core pillars, introducing Ryn's core abilities and offering a glimpse into the enemy types, traversals, and environmental encounters that will expand in later chapters as the characters evolve.

What begins as a regular border patrol quickly turns into chaos when Ryn and her brother Cor are ambushed by forces from the neighboring kingdom of Reigendal. Among the attackers is Zara, a powerful sorceress born as Ryn with the rare ability to wield ancient and volatile magic.

The two clash in a fierce battle that ends in a tense stalemate, interrupted only by the arrival of Abram Finlay, a scholar and explorer who snatches Ryn away from the fight. Separated from her brother, Ryn must work with Abram to find Cor and discover the true purpose of Reigendal's sudden invasion.

Driven by the themes of trust, sacrifice and redemption, Echoes of the End unfolds in ten hand-crafted chapters filled with cinematic moments, memorable characters and high-stakes decisions.
