Microsoft today revealed that, starting in 2023, First Party titles created exclusively for Xbox Series X|S, such as the previously announced Starfield, Forza Motorsport and RedFall, will see a price increase from the current $59.99 to $69.99. The Redmond house reiterates that obviously the titles will still be released at launch on Xbox Game Pass, as if to emphasize the further convenience of the service in the face of this increase.

Microsoft explains that the increase has been adjusted to reflect the greater complexity and vastness of the new titles made by internal studios.

And in the rest of the world, especially in Europe? Here the Xbox titles already cost 69.99 euros, so we do not know if Microsoft will want to apply a similar increase bringing them even to 79.99, or if simply this US increase is wanted to align the price with that in Euro.
