Halo Infinite: from the Forge to online co-op, a video on the news of the Winter Update

343 Industries today released a new video that gives us an overview of what's coming to Halo Infinite with the Winter Update, the winter update scheduled for November 8th. The update will introduce some highly anticipated news, such as the online co-op for the Campaign and the powerful Forge that will allow the most creative players to create and share with the community new maps, modes and even "games in the game".

With the addition of the Cooperative Campaign, we can finally play the story mode of the game with three friends, with the possibility of splitting up on the battlefield and facing the missions in a more tactical and coordinated way. This mode also brings with it the possibility of replaying missions already completed, freely selectable on the map, thus allowing us to relive, alone or in company, battles already carried out.

The Fucina mode instead will allow us to create our own maps and multiplayer modes using a powerful set of tools that not only allows us to position and manipulate every object on the map, but also to program all its behaviors. Suffice it to say that, in the beta period, players have recreated the demo of Silent Hills P.T., the Kokiri forest of The Legend of Zelda, a level of Minecraft and the bedroom of Toy Story. Now that it's available to everyone, the community can really go wild!

There are also news in the multiplayer sector, such as the new system that gives XP even just for playing. Halo Infinite's current progression system relies largely on completing challenges to level up, while this new system should make it easier to progress without requiring you to overcome specific challenges. Two new maps (made with Forge) and a new mode will also be introduced.

We leave you to the movie below: good vision!
