Ubisoft announces Assassin's Creed Mirage, full reveal on September 10

Ubisoft today announced the next episode of the Assassin's Creed series, scheduled pending the ambitious AC Infinity live service; the game will be called Assassin's Creed Mirage and for now only one image has been revealed that confirms its setting and protagonist already rumored previously.

According to rumors, in fact, Assassin's Creed Mirage will take place in Baghdad around 860 AD, and will see us play as the young Basim, whom we have already known in Assassin's Creed Valhalla and reincarnation of the Nordic god Loki; the image confirms this information.

The rumor also reported that the game will be a "return to the origins" for the series, without the RPG elements of the latest episodes and strongly inspired by the first Assassin's Creed, of which Ubisoft would also be preparing a remake that will be included in the Season Pass of the new game.

Ubisoft has revealed that the full reveal of the game will take place on September 10 at 21:00 (Italian time) in a new ubisoft Forward live event; this too had been anticipated in the rumor. So we just have to wait a little over a week to find out more!
