Bandai Namco today announced a new RPG dedicated to the Straw Hat crew: One Piece Odyssey is expected later this year on Xbox Series X|SPS4, and can boast the direct production of Eiichiro Oda, the author of the popular manga / anime series, who has created a new character specifically for this adventure, Adio, and new monsters that inhabit the game world.

During their journey, the Straw Hat crew led by Monkey D. Luffy is engulfed in a huge storm and ends up on a lush mysterious island, each separated from the others and with the Thousand Sunny completely destroyed. The crew then sets out on a journey through an adventurous path full of natural wonders, powerful enemies and strange encounters with the inhabitants of the island. Players will have to work with Luffy and crew members in order to sail again.
