GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition arrives on November 11 and is shown on video

Rockstar today revealed the launch date of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, the trilogy that included GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas improved and optimized for today's consoles. The collection will arrive onNovember 11 in digital, with a physical edition expected for December 7.

But that's not all: the publisher also announced that Xbox Game Pass subscribers from November 11 will be able to play the Definitive Edition of GTA: San Andreas expense.

These are the improvements made to the three titles:

Gameplay improvements:

  • GTA V style controls
  • Improved Gunplay and Aim
  • Improved weapon and radio channel selection wheels
  • Updated mini-maps with better navigation and the ability to set navigation points
  • Introduced the ability to immediately restart a failed mission

Graphic improvements:

  • High-resolution textures for characters, vehicles, roads, and more
  • Completely recreated lighting system with better shadows and reflections
  • Improved water and atmospheric effects
  • More detail in trees and foliage
  • Increased visual distance
