Among the titles coming to the launch of Xbox Series X and S there is also Gears Tactics,which we already knew would be optimized for the new consoles although also coming out for Xbox One. Today Microsoft and The Coalition have revealed what resolutions and frame-rates will be used in the game for the different consoles of the current and next generation.

So we find that on Xbox Series X the game will go to 4K/60fps,with an option to see 30 fps movies for those who prefer a more "cinematic" look; on Xbox Series S the game will instead go to 1440p/60fps, as we would have expected from the cheap console that, net of resolution, promises performance equal to the older sister.

On the current generation, however, we will see Xbox One X run the game at 4K/30fps or 1440p/60fps,while on Xbox One S it will go to 1080p/30fps.

If you love Gears of War and/or XCOM-style turn-based strategy, this will undoubtedly be a title to play; obviously included in the Game Pass!
