Capcom announces Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition and a DLC dedicated to Vergil

Capcom announced that at the launch of Xbox Series X and S digitally (and later on disk) Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition,re-edition of the famous title with graphic enhancements such as ray tracing support and with the addition of a new story expansion dedicated to Vergil,Dante's brother and new modes such as the Legendary Dark Knight Mode and Turbo Mode.

DMC5 owners on the current consoles won't be dry-mouthed, however: new content will also be released for them, via a paid DLC that will be released after launch for the new consoles.

It is important to note, however, that the policy adopted by Capcom is the same as that 505 Games used with Control: a next-gen version of the game separate from the one already released, so that those who already own the title will not have the free upgrade to the next-gen and will therefore have to buy this new edition.

You can see the next-gen improvements and a few moments of the new additional content in the following trailer.
