Xbox One: Microsoft releases August update for everyone, new for insiders

Microsoft has announced a public release starting today with theAugust update of Xbox One,which includes several new features on the console interface that have so far been tested by Insider program members and ushering in a series of improvements coming up ahead of the release of Xbox Series X.

What's new in this update is largely the redesign of the Panel, where social and system notifications have all been unified into a single area accessible by an icon at the bottom of the Panel, the different sections have been optimized and made more usable, and useful features such as the ability to individually adjust the voice volume of individual party members have been added. There are also other innovations that you can discover for yourself as soon as the update is installed.

But that's not all: even the members of the Insider program will receive some news today, with an update that begins to introduce some new features of the new interface such as changes to the look-and-feel that involve the shapes of the blocks, now more rounded, the fonts used and various effects, while also introducing profile themes that allow us to customize our experience with shades of colors or themes dedicated to individual games.

As the icing on the cake, Microsoft has announced that it is changing the log-in policies on consoles and xCloud, allowing us to log on to multiple devices at the same time; It will remain the limitation of being able to play only on one device at a time (we can't log in with our profile on two Xboxes and launch two games at the same time), but for example it will be possible to log on to two Xboxes by launching on one Netflix and the other a game, or use the console to watch a movie and the phone with xCloud to play, without being dislodged from one side or the other.

So let's leave you to discover the news released!
