Xbox One: Easier Home Customization and "Surprise Me" button for Alpha Skip-Ahead

Microsoft tonight released a new update for members of the Xbox One Preview program in the Alpha Skip-Aheadring, which introduces two interesting, if non-essential, novelties: a menu that makes it easy to customize the Home screen and the"Surprise Me"button in My Games and Apps.

The customization menu is activated by pressing the controller's "View" button (the one with the two squares), and allows us to more easily access functions that were still available: the first is the arrangement of the information blocks in the home with the reordering, which we can now do with a schematic view of all the blocks present (while before it could only be done by swiping in the contents of the Home, in an unintuitive way), while special buttons allow us to access the background, color, and accessibility options, without having to search for them in the settings.

The "Surprise me"button, on the other hand, is a new button (image below) in the sections of the installed/installed games, the Game Pass and the groups on the My Games and Apps screen; its purpose is simply to suggest each time a different game to play among those on these lists. When you don't know what to play, this might give you "surprising" indications!

As always, these functions are only available to members of the Preview program and, in this case, only those of the most advanced ring, the Alpha Skip-Ahead; has not yet been revealed when they will reach all users.
