Rumor: Blizzard prepares Overwatch 2 announcement, will focus on PvE

In a few days, from November 1 to 3, the Blizzcon 2019will take place in California, the fair dedicated to all Blizzard titles; several announcements are expected on this occasion, the first of which are already starting to leak. In recent days came the rumor of the announcement of a possible Diablo 4,while now we learn that the studio may be in the process of announcing Overwatch 2.

The indiscretion comes fromESPN'seSports channel, which allegedly received information about the new game that Blizzard is preparing to veer toward a more PvE model, with teams of players - the classics heroes each with their own abilities and backgrounds - committed to following a story against CPU-controlled enemies, a bit like gearbox's ill-fated Battleborn which, ironically, was unsuccessful also due to the popularity of Overwatch.

According to ESPN sources, the new title will put more emphasis on a narrative experience and offer us story missions for 4 players, one of which will be set in Rio the Janeiro. However, it seems that the game will continue to include the popular PvP that has made it famous so far, for which the new "Push" mode will be revealed at the Blizzcon.

So we just have to wait a few days to find out if the new game will be really announced!
