Studio Wildcard held a live broadcast last night during which the coming news for ARK: SurvivalEvolved, a popular online sandbox-survival that has made great strides since the very first days with a constant stream of new content from developers.

The studio has announced the next chapter in the game's saga, the Genesis expansion that will arrive in two separate updates, one in December 2019 and one in early 2020. This important expansion will advance the ARK storyline while introducing new biomes and creatures through a new mission mechanism. One of the main innovations will be the arrival of the flying companion HLN-A, a kind of companion for our missions that we can customize with skins and colors and that will warn us of nearby dangers as well as produce emotes to show to other players; As you can see in the ad trailer, it looks strongly inspired by Halo's 343 Guilty Spak and is even generated by an A-like Cortana! And this is not the only similarity to the Microsoft series that the update introduces, since we can also use energy blades very similar to those used by the Covenants in Halo.

All this will be obtainable through the purchase of theARK: Genesis SeasonPass, priced at 34.99 euros. Now we'll leave you to the announcement trailer and a set of images of the new expansion.
