Setback for The Last Night: you find a new lender

One of the most interesting indie E3 2017 was undoubtedly The Last Night , fascinating cyberpunk scrolling adventure that has amazed everyone for the creative use of pixel-art combined with lighting effects typical of 3D worlds, able to look single game scenarios. Since then, however, has never known anything about the title: no news were expected to end 2018, but not arrived. Now we know why.

In a series of tweets the creator of title, Tim Soret, explained that at the beginning of 2018 things were going swimmingly for the project: the development team had been doubled in size and moved to an Office in London, while the budget of the game underwent an imp soaring ortante (we presume with a lender outside), which would have allowed the title to grow both technically.

But as long as the team has not encountered problems "legal and funding" that led them to stop development and eliminate the spread of a new trailer for the game scheduled at The Game Awards. In fact the team is currently looking for new lenders to continue with development.

The destiny of the title is so for now uncertain: obviously we hope Soret and his team find the funds necessary to proceed with the development, because such a title deserves to be played! And for those of you that if they were lost, here you in succession the splendid announce trailer two years ago.
