Distrust, an isometric horror game inspired by the thing coming on Xbox One

The publisher E-Home Development has announced that the Russians ' Distrust Cheerleaders horror game will arrive on Xbox One on 24 August . Inspired by " the thing " by John Carpenter, Distrust is about a group of explorers stranded near Arctic base due to a helicopter crash; as they try to find a way back, they find out when they sleep they attract a terrifying force that sucks the life out of their bodies, but at the same time more trying to fight this phenomenon remaining awake and the lower the probability that to survive in these extreme conditions.

As the survivors try to get enough sleep to dismiss the effort without dying, slowly go crazy and eventually reach the point where they can no longer trust their senses. Over time, they can't even distinguish between reality and hallucination.

The game will select a team of characters, each with its own characteristics and personality, leading them to explore a series of randomly generated Arctic areas so that every game seems different from the previous one. Survival game mechanics will ensure that we will have to keep under control body temperature, hunger and strength of our characters, and, of course, sleep, but will bring unspeakable horrors.

The control system has been optimised for console and there will directly control the characters: we should rather order him where to go and what to do in a sort of real time strategy game on a small scale, and at any time we have a chance to pause the game to impart more comfortably orders to our characters.

We leave you now with a trailer and a set of images from the game.
