The cel-shading spy story of XIII returns with a remake at the end of the year

If you were owners of the First Xbox in 2003, you probably REMEMBER XIII, intriguing FPS inspired by the Franco-Belgian Comic strip Of Jean Van Hamme and William Vance, who threw us into a conspiracy plot worthy of Best Spy Movies Seasoning all with an excellent graphics "cartoonous" cel-shading.

Well, if you are nostalgic for those times you will probably be thrilled with this announcement: the publisher French Microids has announced a complete remake of the title of 16 years ago by the studio PlayMagic; XIII will arrive on our consoles on 13 November, proposing a single player campaign of well 34 levels.

This remake will again be a first-person shooter in which we play the role of "Thirteen", a soldier who has lost his memory and is accused of murdering the president of the United States. The story will wake us up on a beach in amnesia, and we have to rebuild our memory starting from only two clues: a small key and the mysterious tattoo "XIII" next to the clavicle. The developers want to realize with this title a FPS experience centered on narration, letting us know the history of XIII with new generation graphics and animations.

For now it's all: we leave you to the announcement trailer that anticipates the atmosphere of the game.
