MadMind Developer Studio announced today that the first-person horror adventure Agony will rely, in addition to the already announced story, even on a further modalities designed to challenge players. Titled Agony Mode , this mode will immerse us in mazes generated procedurally made of human bones or ice rooms, letting us tackle quests and random challenges.

Here, untethered from the framework and the limits of the story, you will also be able to choose the sex of our character and the adventure ends with our death, no extra lives or bailouts. A world ranking will show players who have resisted more in this sort of horror roguelike mode.

The new mode is shown in the next trailer, while we remind you that the game will arrive on our console next week, on 29 May. Good vision!
