It seems that the news about Gears of War 2 are not yet finished. After announcing that the game will be boosted Xbox One technically for X, with a resolution and a cleaning graphics improved significantly, Microsoft has decided to make all the DLC released for the game completely free of charge.

The four Map Pack released for Gears of War 2 are:

• Combustible Map Pack: The explosive action you take center stage in these three new multiplayer maps for Gears 2: flood, gold rush and gas station. Increasing flow of Imulsion Flood into the battle in a wild melee. Infiltrate an Imulsion factory in gold rush, where multiple levels and hazardous materials guarantee memorable encounters. In the gas station there is a dangerous battle near an abandoned gas station;
• Flashback Map Pack: As a special thank you to the fans we've updated five famous and popular maps of Gears of War: Gridlock, subway, canals, building and station, all ready to be downloaded, and available for free through Xbox LIVE code provided in new Gears of War 2 packs;
  
• Dark Corners Map Pack: This pack includes seven new downloadable multiplayer maps and a bonus chapter cut Gears of War 2 campaign, "escape", where Marcus and Dom range the locust Highway stealthily or-armed. For fans of multiplayer, the seven maps include by popular demand a map war machine inspired by Gears 1; Garden of ancestors, a no holds barred battle in territory COG; Highway, a clash in the locust hollow; Monument, where he fights at the tomb of the unknown; Into thin air, a firefight in an old motel; Secondary station, an unpredictable battlefield with parallel streets and shelter, rereading the famous map of Gears for Windows;
  
• Snowblind Map Pack: This winter themed package gives you four Gears of War 2 maps that will increase the frenzy of multiplayer matches and Horde. From the hunt for enemies on bright snowy peaks or in the dark tunnels of Tunnel. The massive industrial complex of grind yard gives numerous bunkers where reparation, but beware of snipers stationed on the surrounding buildings. Don't underestimate the ruins of monuments in courtyard, where the wide open spaces offer numerous opportunities to shoot down enemies ... unless they strike first. Finally, by popular demand, back the famous Gears Storage map 1;

This is a really good opportunity to (re) play the second installment of the popular saga, and with the free release of all multiplayer support, is never a part of the community of Gears of War 2 not back to repopulate the servers!
