Rumor: Ubisoft is working on a Far Cry game set in the old West

Now it has been almost three years since the release of Far Cry 4 and one from spin-off Primal , then Ubisoft is expected to come to talk about the series by announcing a new episode "numbered". And, according to some clues from the USA, there may be a security at western setting.

The local newspaper Great Falls Tribune American has released the news that a film crew is making live footage for a promotional video game apparently for setting western and " following an existing franchise ": one of the scenes he saw two men fighting in the vicinity of a Bell, while a train passed in the background.

The news does not mention nor Ubisoft nor Far Cry, so why reaching that conclusion instead of thinking of filming for Red Dead Redemption 2 ? Because of two clues: the manufacturer of the shooting is Jeff Guilot, who previously worked on similar products for other Ubisoft titles (drivers, Red Steel 2 and Rabbids), Ubisoft also usually use this type of trailer live to promote their games, especially for serial Far Cry, while Rockstar always prefers to rely on scenes shot in-game.

Obviously we are fully into the field of speculation and it is not said that the shootings are related to a new Far Cry: most likely we'll find out in a month, however, at E3. Stay tuned!
