The U.S. market analysis agency NPD has released a report on sales of videogame market in USA around the 2016, revealing that while Sony was the most sold globally for the entire year, Xbox One has sold altogether more in the second half, one that also includes the Christmas season.

This result is obviously due to the excellent sales of Xbox One S, met with great enthusiasm from the market and that has managed to set the House of Redmond four consecutive months of market dominance, while the two that has not been the best selling has still registered a minimum detachment from the competition.

This data, Microsoft has added that the December 2016 registered sales higher than any other month for all generations of Xbox (despite that month have sold less than PS4), and Xbox One was the only console to close the year with an increase in sales over the previous year.
