Psyonix announced that in September it will be introduced in a new mode called Rocket League free Rumble , which adds to the classic gameplay of the game a bit of Mario Kart : this mode will indeed 11 different power-ups that will change significantly the behavior of the car giving us defensive/offensive both possibilities that ball-handling.

The power-ups that can be used in Rumble are as follows:

• The Boot -A powerful spring boot able to boot off the opponent cars
• Disruptor -Forcing an opponent to lose control on the car
• Freezer -Freezes the ball in place
• Grappling Hook -a hook that draws us to the ball
• Haymaker -punches the ball
• Magnetizer | -attracts the ball to our car
• Plunger -Snap the ball with a suction cup plunger attached to a rope
• Power Hitter -enhances our impact with any object
• Spike -spikes that will allow us to retain the ball stuck to the car once rammed
• Swapper -allows us to change places with an opponent
• Tornado -Draws the ball and the opponent cars into a powerful giant tornado
